Exit 137 - at the end of the ramp, make a left (at the light) onto Westfield Avenue (Rt. 28 East). Start counting lights after you pass Burger King, on the right. At the 9th light, make a right onto Grove Street. At the 3rd light, make a left onto Jersey Avenue. Cross over Rt. 1 & 9. Continue on East Jersey Avenue until you pass under the Turnpike overpass. George Washington School No. 1 is at the 1st light, on the corner of East Jersey Avenue and 3rd Street.

Exit 140A to 82 East (Morris Avenue) - stay on Morris Avenue until it ends at the Broad Street arches (railroad overpass). Make a right onto Broad Street. At the 2nd light, make a left onto E. Grand Street. At the 1ST light, make a right (Police Station will be on the left). At the 1st light, make a left onto E. Jersey Street.

Continue on East Jersey Street until you pass under the Turnpike overpass. George Washington School No. 1 is to the left at the 1st light (corner of E. Jersey Street and 3rd Street).

After passing through the Bayway Circle, stay on Rt. 1 & 9 North and go over the bridge. Immediately after the bridge, make a right onto East Jersey Street. BE CAREFUL WITH THIS TURN!! TRAFFIC MERGES FROM THE RIGHT. Continue on East Jersey Street until you pass under the Turnpike overpass. George Washington School No. 1 is to the left at the 1st light (corner of E. Jersey Street and 3rd Street).

After passing North Avenue, bear to the right at the 7th light onto the Elizabeth Avenue exit (exit is adjacent to bridge). At the end of the ramp, make a left onto Elizabeth Avenue. At the 9th light, make a left onto 3rd Street. George Washington School No. 1 is to the right, on the corner of East Jersey Street and 3rd Street.

Exit 13 - follow signs for Rt. 1&9 N./439/Elizabeth. At the end of the ramp, make a right (at the light) onto Brunswick Avenue. Brunswick Avenue turns into Atlantic Avenue. Do not go onto the Goethals Bridge entrance ramp. After going over a small bridge, make a right at the 1st light onto 3rd Street. Travel 5 blocks and make a left onto S. 2nd Street. At the 2nd light, make a left onto E. Jersey Street. George Washington School No. 1 is on the left.

Travel on Morris Avenue (Rt. 82 East) until it ends at the Broad Street arches (railroad overpass). Make a right onto Broad Street. At the 2nd light, make a left onto E. Grand Street. At the 1st light, make a right (Police Station will be on the left). At the 1st light, make a left onto E. Jersey Street. Continue on East Jersey Street until you pass under the Turnpike overpass. George Washington School No. 1 is to the left at the 1st light (corner of E. Jersey Street and 3rd Street).
